Tesla has apparently moved the location of the battery health test (degradation) in the service menu. I have watched several YouTube videos and done numerous searches. I spent an hour looking thru the service menu without luck. Can someone explain to me how to find it like I am a 5 year old. Picture is of the screen it was previously located but no longer contains the test.

I don’t see the need to know the battery health. If I have a 150k mile warranty on battery and I’m at 15k who cares. That’s my 2 cents.

I am interested to have a baseline at 6k to compare down the road in the future. Sometimes data can be good.

Nope, it's not going to be any good. Not going to make a difference to what Tesla will do to replace your battery.

And it does degrade your battery beyond normal. It takes at least an entire cycle out of the limited number of cycles that the battery has.

It is an absolute given that in the first couple of years, your battery will degrade by maybe 15%. Not much you can do about it; it's the way the batteries are. But once it goes through this initial drop, it will stay this way for many years.

Telsa won't do anything until it hits around 70%, very noticeable and unquestionable.

So if I am at 149,999 miles and the battery is at 70.01% efficiency, then I can run this test a few times to drop under 70%, and therefore get a new battery under warranty? That sounds like a good reason to keep track of this. )))

Third-party apps like Tessie can track battery status:

Note that the range took an uptick recently. I ran the pack down below 10% and then charged to 100% to get a more accurate calibration. I mostly keep it between 30% and 60%.
