I’d like to share my experience with @ElecFresh and warn others. They posted a giveaway of their new phone mount recently. After it ended, they send a direct message to me and around 8-10 other forum members with a number. I thought I had won the free phone mount. Chris from ElecFresh reached out and said it was a mistake, but offered to give me a code for 30% off of one, and after I received and reviewed it, they would reimburse me.
I ordered the phone mount but the discount code didn’t work so I paid full price. I direct messaged him back explaining it didn’t work, clarified I’d be reimbursed for the entire amount, and he said it was fine, to screenshot the receipt with my order number and let him know when I received and reviewed it. A couple days later I received the phone mount which is actually a good product. I reviewed it on Amazon, the screenshot him a picture showing I had left the review. A few days later he confirmed and said he would reimburse me, but yo give it some time. He also mentioned they reimburse through PayPal which I did not have. I created an account for the sole purpose of getting the reimbursement. This was this past Thursday.
Fast forward to tonight and I get a message from Chris asking how I liked the mount and would I write a review on Amazon. ? Confused, I reminded him we had spoken earlier in the week and what our agreement was. He apologized and said to forget that and asked if I would help them promote their Blsck Friday sale! ???
Well no sir I will not promote a discount YOU DIDN’T EVEN GIVE ME! If this is their idea of customer service, I’d be careful. If a man won’t stand by his word, his company isn’t worth doing business with.
I’m curious what the experience was of the other folks who got the direct message?
Just to be clear, I’m not upset that I bought the phone mount and would have been happy with the 30% discount. He offered the full reimbursement, backed out, then asked for my help. He didn’t even offer to reimburse the 30%! That’s what I’m bothered by. poor customer service. Sorry for the rant, I just wanted to share my experience.

I want to provide an update on the the issue above. ElecFresh reached out to me. They explained the misunderstanding, apologized and made things right. I appreciated it.
I want to reiterate that the phone charger itself is a good product and I said as much in my review posts both here and on Amazon.
