So how long do you think it will be before some CT out in the wilds catches a bear/moose/(other dangerous wild animals) on sentry mode while the owner is sleeping inside? I'm looking forward to overlanding in my CT and would be thrilled to wake up to see that a bear had investigated my CT overnight while I slept safely inside.

Any other scenarios that people predict will be seen on CT sentry mode?

I am guessing 5-6 weeks. It will be a ton of city driving, showing off the vehicle before people head out to the boondocks to test it out.

Now if BIGFOOT shows up on your CT Sentry Mode cameras, then we will have something.
I wonder if Tesla will have a feature for anomaly detection.... For you know.... Bigfoot, UFOs, alien beings, Halloween party people, or funniest home video candidates.... Gotta keep an eye out for all that.

And of course video review for when you get pulled over by the police is helpful too (unless it really was your fault of course).

Well, found some bear footage on Teslacam. Unfortunately, my CT (and anyone else's) has not been produced yet so this footage is just of a regular Model Y Teslacam variety. The video is cued up for the bear.

This video reminds me of something which happened a couple weeks ago.

We were going up to Portland and Highway 5 was closed for about 15 miles… the result was a predictable giant mess with all of the side roads just completely slammed. After about 45 minutes of very frustrating side road action and a Supercharger stop (mostly hoping traffic would clear up), we finally got back onto the highway and I sort of opened up the throttle just enjoying the open road for a change.

This Mustang GT was right behind me and decided he was going to try and pass me on the right when I was accelerating pretty hard and it triggered my inner Mario. About 15 seconds later I’m still well ahead of the Mustang and realize that my speed ended in a 15 and was climbing. I backed let off the throttle to let the Mustang get around me, he did not look happy, but his desire to drive fast outweighed his urge to drive at a pokey 70MPH to extract revenge for the perceived sleight.

Not something I usually do. Just the frustration of the moment… plus WTF car can do it I don’t need to tolerate douchebags making bad passes.

I expect to see some interesting footage on mine, I also plan on doing a fair bit of ogrelanding.

My garage is big enough fot CT but with sentry mode, I'm considering parking in the driveway for a budget home security system.
LOL

budget home security system
So $39k for a security system that fails every time you are away from home.

Nice budget you have there.

You are looking at it wrong.

He’s already buying the Cybertruck. The only “cost” of this security system is keeping it parked outside as opposed to inside his garage.

Mine (eventually haha), probably less than a month. I live in the burbs, but we back up to a preserve, catch bears on my Nest all the time. :)
