I'm about due for tires - my stock Foundation series tires (Goodyear) have been excellent. Been in the snow, mud, and a ton of road driving and all around they have exceeded expectations by a huge margin. I'm at 36,000 miles with plenty of tread left, which is amazing for a truck this heavy. I had past conversation vans that ate better tires in 25-30K miles.

I should add - Midwest. Snow. Driving across Rocky Mountains (IA to Reno/Truckee/Lake Tahoe mountain passes in snow), down to FL and up the East coast.

Midwest here. Two best mods were clear vu camera washers on the side and rear and toyo AT3 EV tires.
Will have to check out the tires. We were in Kansas City, KS during their 'record breaking' 6" snow storm and we were out looking at houses all day. The most driving I have done in the snow with ZERO road lines visible, even on the interstate it was a 'path' through the white - all FSD. Goodyears performed well.

Traction on the toyo AT3 EV tires looks better. But with a little harsher ride and noise on the road? Guess it boils down to your main use. They appear to last longer too but bigger truck likely eats tires faster than ratings.

I will have that much snow here soon. It melted off once and now we are getting our last winter blast.

The AT EV version closest size is 1" taller, same width. Front flaps removed works.

Quiet and no noticiable range hit.

Only thing better on ice is real snow tires you can only run in the winter.

I went to check out the Toyo AT III’s and discovered they don’t make em in 285/65R20. I’m assuming you got the 285/70R20?

We run the AT III’s on our Sequoia and have for years so I decided to give them a try on our CT and they’ve been outstanding. Had those 2 major storms during the holidays here in Reno/Tahoe where we got 8+ feet and they were everything we expected. Had to go with the non EV version in order to get the 65’s. We put them through their paces in several days of snow/blizzard driving and I’ll be replacing them with the same ones when the time comes. Can’t speak for any others as only have experience with these and the stock AT’s.

Yes 1" taller.

Before I got the winch bumper I had to remove the front flaps to run them.

thanks but I’m still leaning towards the Perelli Scorpion XTM AT as it’s designed for an EV, comes in the exact OEM size AND has a higher speed rating, albeit slightly! (T vs S)

EV tires low rolling resistance is important.

Your factory tires are AT or AS? Thanks
