For those looking to restore or protect the black trim on your CT, here are two products that I’ve been using. You can can see the difference in the treated molding vs the non treated. Truck has almost 50K miles on it and is kept outside, which includes 3-4 months during our winter snow storms.

Solution Finish for the trim and bumpers, along with the molding under the doors.

C4 GTECHNIQ Trim Restorer for the tonneau. *The picture has a bunch of pollen on it but you can see the finish.

After 18 months, it looks almost new and these two products are the only thing we’ve used on the mold, trim and tonneau. Application and prep is quite simple as well.

Tried many trim restorers, coatings…
They mostly work fine on the exterior trim.
But the bed is a whole other conundrum.
Weird materials. Water staining, fading Nothing lasts…
For me, the Best solution for the tailgate, side and back walls is Xpel Armor

No. US Flag Code requires that the Union be in the upper left when viewed horizontally on a surface. It represents the constant forward motion and the unbreakable spirit of those who serve and who have served.

I'm not sure you said that correctly as it isn't in the upper left, though I know it can / should be as you have it, in the upper right.

It’s mirrored intentionally to maintain the flying forward illusion. That’s the passenger side of the CT, so it’s reversed in order to make sure it’s facing forward as required. On the driver’s side, it’s in the upper left. It’s a common mistake to repeat the orientation on the driver’s side, on the passenger side as well. Basically, Stars always lead and Stripes always follow. Hopefully that clears it up with a little more context, so thanks for bringing it up as I made the mistake of assuming people would know that it would have to be reversed on the passenger or starboard side of a vehicle or boat. 👍

No, I agree with you but you said "US Flag Code requires that the Union be in the upper left when viewed horizontally on a surface." It does, but allows this reversed position on purpose, a clarification I think you didn't indicate.

Correct. That’s the false assumption I made in thinking people would understand that it would have to be reversed in order to keep it in a “constant forward motion.” Should be clear now.
