It's a public beach, but everything around the pad (including the roads) is cleared out during launch windows.

Nothing needed. Just show up and enjoy. If you want to get a closeup view of the Starship, you need to be there around 6-7 hours before launch time because they close the roads. Not sure of the exact timing. It is worth the trip. Awesome would be an understatement.

I live in Florida and tried to see a launch from Cape Kennedy, Cape Canaveral so many times I gave up and you could never get anywhere near to get a photo like that. This is so pass cool being able to get up close and seeing the cyber trucks there is a true sight.

Cyberbeach is about 1000 feet from the base of the launch pad. I took this photo about 8 hours before the launch last Wednesday. Max Evans (@_mgde_ on x.com) was setting up his cameras at that location and caught some awesome imagery you can see on his x.com account. They escort everyone off the beach about 7 hours before a launch so you need to watch it from a safe distance.
