Not sure how brave I will be to sleep in it, but picnics, stargazing, chill spot when the weather is nice but the bugs are vicious.. we also have a large blackout ground tent depending on weather. I just ordered a 6 inch tri fold mattress for the back cause the mattress topper I have in there now is only good for sitting but too hard still for sleeping. Can't wait to get this show on the road!!

Nice option for a day out. Only one thing I would be concerned about is rain / bad weather as the rain will collect in the vault / bed area and if your mattress is lying directly on the bed floor, most likely will be soaked.

it’s the main reason I went with the Tesla Cybertent with its air pumped framed build as well has the bed / mattress itself about half way up the sidewalls. If you were to slide your gear or say a Tesla tote into the bed floor/ vault area, the mattress sleeping area is about that same height only a little taller for room.

As well the Tesla Cybertent has the outer flaps that drape over the sides to keep rain runoff from entering the bed area/ vault area.

Yeah I would love a cyber tent. I'm just bringing a big waterproof blackout tent for longer stays where weather might get us. My tonneau is pretty water tight just a few drops. I am using waterproof encasements on all mattresses just in case too. The white mosquito net is like a pop up laundry basket. Just seconds to take up and down. How long has your setup been( 20 minutes)? I'm a single mom of a disabled kid, so I have to be fast not to piss of the little prince.

Cybertent takes maybe 5 min to remove trim piece at rear edge of cabin, activate tent mode (Outlets and Mods > Cybertent Mode), fold out tent and inflate.

These tents show up here occasionally and on FB Marketplace. I picked up a used Cybertent from a forum member here, as previous owner went thru buy-back on his truck.

When the tent is up could an ebike fit under it still? Well I'm glad to hear a first hand response that isn't all huffing and puffing in dismay. All the yt video's I watched, the people seemed disappointed. We are gonna be traveling for about a year 4 day stays or less mostly.

Bike Front wheel needs to be removed to close vault cover. Other option is over the tailgate.
