So, my reservation came up, and I just decided not to get a cybertruck right now. I had bought a gas truck, and after driving it for a few years, I really didn't like the driving dynamics. I suppose I am just a sedan kind of person and will rent a truck when I need one. I still like the CT looks and just wish it was smaller. I know I am in the minority on that front.

Anyway, on to my issue. I canceled the reservation, and they refunded my $100 deposit to my expired Visa. I cannot figure out how to update my information to get the $100 back. Any thoughts? I have called the main number, but I can't figure out how to navigate their phone tree. I don't have an account, no solar, no other teslas.

Do you have any suggestions as to how I can update that information, either by talking to a person or via email?

Maybe the CT is the truck you need, doesn’t drive like a regular truck from what i read.

Just a FYI… different trucks have different rides. My RAM 3500 Dually and Ford F350 feel like a Cadillac … my F150 rides like a sports car and is smooth as silk. My Gladiator… that feels like a truck… it’s rocky and you really feel the road with it … feel every little bump. The Gladiator would not be a pleasant daily driver.

I think the CT will fall in the Cadillac category. You should give it a test if your local SC has one available.

If smaller is a main criteria, how about Rivian R1T?

If Cybertruck functionality is main criteria...that's your answer, no substitutes!

The CT drives like a sports car on 35’s. Its radius is as tight as my model X. Even my wife is shocked how much smaller it drives than it looks.

If it’s not too late, you should get it. If nothing else sell it for a profit…

It seems like with the quietness and awesome ride quality of the cybertruck, That is really what you do need. I’m curious did it require you to order a foundation series and you preferred not to spend the extra money? Our cyberbeast is the quietest. most comfortable riding vehicle we’ve ever been in.

Yes, the Rivian R1T is just right for this use. Sadly, it does not have stainless steel and does not have a Tesla.

I have no doubt the CT is a great ride. Yes, there is something in the value proposition. With other Tesla models costing half as much, that is part of the value proposition. Also, the recent recalls and delays in delivery have me worried the CT may not be ready for my money. I don't need to buy a vehicle right now so waiting is OK too.

CT drives as nimble as a Model 3, but you are sitting on the roof. I finally took my CT out today, and a 911 chased me down from a gas station who wanted to play. Came to the conclusion that Tesla shouldn't made the Cyberbeast. It's like breaking physics. Just kept asking myself, how? Wtf? How?

You should rent one and give it a go before canceling the reservation.
