Has anyone scoped the power signal from the bed outlets on the cybertruck? How clean is the signal? How bad is the voltage drop under load?

I was attempting to charge a bluetti AC200L over the weekend while camping and observed some very strange behavior. The battery was set to charge at 9A but would ramp all the way up to 1300W before shutting down and restarting. Once it restarted, it would ramp again, shutdown and repeat the cycle. After a few cycles, the cybertruck had enough and cut the feed.

First issue is the battery not respecting its own 9A current limit and going over 1300W. But I wonder if it's sensing something strange about the cybertruck signal that's making it behave strangely. I don't see this issue when charging at home where I can do 12A without issue.

Second, why is the cybertruck cutting the feed? The battery can theoretically charge at 20A, but the cybertruck outlets are 20A capable I thought? I wonder if there's a way to see more information in service mode?

Any thoughts would be appreciated. I have only theories as to what's going on and getting it fixed either on Tesla's or bluetti's side would probably benefit everyone.

Grounding is a classic issue. Don't know if that plays in here though.
Did the Bluetti work okay back on a standard commercial outlet?

You may try Bluetti support and see if they can get a diagnostics off of the device.

It charged up fine back at home. I've got a thread started in bluetti's forum as well. We'll see what we can find out.

Anyone know if the cybertruck inverter is pure sine wave? The battery requires it and if the truck isn't, that might explain the strange behavior.

Seems fairly sinusoidal, which makes sense with Powershare functionality and charging PFC.
Ignore the voltage measurement, my scope was on the wrong attenuation.

Hi, Tripzero;

Any updates on this? I am facing the identical issue with a Bluetti Apex 300.

I appreciate any additional info on this issue.

Best,
