My two level 2 EVSEs are permanently installed in my garage.

How are CT owners (with inside EVSEs) planning to deal with snaking the j-1772 or NACS cables outside to charge their cyber trucks during off-peak rates if the CT doesn't fit in your garage?

Are you cutting holes in your garage door or how do you get the cable out whilst still keeping the rodents from coming in? Ideas?

Just get a long enough cable and let it run on the ground under your closed garage door. This is how I charge a couple cars today that dont fit in the garage.

Just had PowerShare (gateway v3 plus wall connector) installed and I added a uni wall connector on the external corner of the house where I park the truck.

That works, but it could cause issues over time with the cord being repeatedly pinched between the garage door and the floor.

I recommend installing a raised threshold along the length of the floor where the door closes with a small cutout for the cable to pass through. You could also install a cat door to the side of the garage door that you could pass the cable through but that would be a little more inconvenient if you wanted to use the same charge unit to charge inside the garage sometimes.

Cable management tip:

It looks neater, and is easier to deploy/put away, if you drape (fewer) longer coils on the Wall Connector.

Pro tip: always mount the Wall Connector a little higher than you think in order to accomodate bigger diameter coils of the charge cable. This causes less twisting of the cable, making it easier to deploy and put away neatly. You should only need three coils to hold the entire 24 feet of cable.
