I received my Cybertruck on February 1, but never really checked the functionality of the USB drive. I assumed it was working after the screen indicated it was recording, but on the settings main screen it said "Not recording".
Another CT driver was in an accident, and when he went to review the dashcam footage, only to find no footage. Required formatting the USB drive before it started recording properly.
So FYI to folks with their CT: check the USB dashcam, or just reformat it before you keep driving. Might not actually be recording.
