Control wire info for Universal Charger / Powershare / gateway setup?

I am considering installing the 6/3 AWG wire for the universal charger with the powershare combo done ahead of time while my basement is undergoing some renovations.

For poweshare , this setup needs the 6/3 wire and a control wire from the panel to the charger/gateway

Does anyone know what is the specs of the control wire? Should it just be another single 6 amp wire or should I install a 6/4 wire etc ?


Any info would be appreciated.

My recommendation would be to just install metal electrical conduit, that way when you get your charger and whatever else you can just fish the appropriate wires through at that time. That way you can be sure that the metal conduit can be terminated in the gateway and at the charger so your all up to code.
