Hey folks!
I just took delivery of my Cybertruck two days ago...
I love it!
But the one thing that's bugging me is that I can't get Cruise Control working...
I checked in the "Autopilot" section and see "Traffic Aware Cruise Control" selected.
When I click on the right scroll wheel... I get a "Cruise Control is Unavailable"
It gives a ton of reasons why such as:
  • Not going fast enough
    Me having cancelled the request

  • Valet Mode being enabled
  • Weather conditions
I've done the double scroll wheel reboot of the Truck.

I scheduled a Service Visit for this issue, but I can't get an appointment for 12x days.
I don't need this feature terribly bad, but it's annoying that it doesn't work.

Other goofy antidocts that may be related...
I also never see any objects on the screen next to my truck, other cars, pedestrians, etc...
This leads me to suspect that there is something wrong with the camera calibration.
I have driven 229 miles, as I've read that it might need up to 100 miles to calibrate the cameras in certain scenarios, unless there's a calibration problem, 229 miles should be more than enough.
Also, when going into "Camera Preview" mode while digging into the truck settings. None of the cameras will display anything in that "Camera Preview" app... But while driving, the Front, Rear, & both turn signal cameras work just fine.
Is there some sort of "Self Diagnostic" the truck could run to ensure at a minimum every camera on the truck is receiving a picture?
I'd be super grateful for any advice you could give me!

Thanks!
Cody

Edit: Added my VIN "Range" as I see a lot of posts are doing.

You can inspect and calibrate the cameras in the Service Menu.

Settings -> Software -> Hold "Cybertruck" logo for 5 secs -> Password "service"

Thanks for the quick reply. There’s definitely a problem… See attached images.
My fisheye camera has failed to initialize

Any suggestions? Or just wait for my Tesla service visit?

I have the same issue with my Cybertruck and have scheduled a service appointment to have Tesla look at it. I've tried the "Clear Calibration" several times as well as the reboot on the system and nothing resolves the issue. I also dropped into a Tesla service center to see if they could quickly take a look at it for me and the answer was "NO".

Like you, I find this very frustrating with a new vehicle and felt this should have been addressed prior to the delivery. I know if I was paying this much for a new BMW, I wouldn't have driven it off the lot until it was fixed.

Wouldn't be surprised if they replace the camera.

I had this issue and waited a few weeks to get in to service. They fixed it the same day. Replaced the front bumper camera. Then today just maybe 5 or 6 trips in total since the fix, it gave me the same alert regarding camera calibration. I saw in this thread how to access the service menu so I’ll look at that, but I’ll be scheduling with service again.

I have the same exact problem of no calibration, but in my service menu, the ECU is completely without power
