Customized roof rack installed with unique spare tire placement

I would love for someone to do a range hit comparison as well as show pluses and minuses to bed accessability, total clearance height, and view out of the glass roof with the spare centered on the 3rd and 4th roof racks as it is here vs the 2nd and 3rd which might allow more easy access to the bed/vault but would likely partially obstruct the glass roof view, add some height to clearance, and cause a bit more range reduction so it’s easier to weigh the benefits and downsides to one placement vs the other.

This is my setup, from Cybertruckco and I love it. I think it provides much easier access to the back and middle of the bed, doesn't really block the glass roof. It also was pretty solid during the off road driving - i didn't see any bending or flexing of the aluminum crossbar or supports.

The aero... not sure there's much difference in the placement, unless you've got a wind tunnel...

Hi , wanted to travel to my 100+ acre cabin this hunting season with the Cybertruck so I set up rack storage to help with situations traveling several hours to a remote location . I don't want to attempt to fix a tire in the middle of the night in a remote location.

Heavy Duty crossbars and molles were purchased with @CYBERTRUCKco . Pretty easy setup just needed some help with the tire rack as I wanted to mount on the lower racks for less wind resistance. So Cybertruckco told me the adjustments I needed to make .

Love the way it looks and the space savings for travel gear.

looks FANTASTIC! My only advice (not that you asked for any) is to put a tire cover over the spare - I have a Sprinter with a spare tire mounted on an after-market rack on the rear door and after a few years the spare will show signs of dry-rot if constantly exposed to the sun. Might not be an issue for you (maybe you garage your CT) but just something I had to do. Again, looks awesome!

Since it appears as if you are getting ready for off-road travels (although lots are trucks get dressed up, nut never do it) have you thought about the weight capacity of the crossbars and the weight of the spare in a dynamic situation? With the spare in the middle, those crossbars may need to be able to many hundred pounds going over big humps. (and that s assuming no other weight on rack)
Look good but mounted in the absolutely weakest part of the cross bars.

The CybertruckCo bars (and Tesla spec) say 200 lbs per bar - looks to me like the weight is spread out fairly well.

Seems to me that the straps on the spare on reversed. Shouldn't the wishbone be at the rear with the single strap at the front? I'm sure it's tight enough and safe but my brain just sees it as backwards for turns, fast accelerations, etc. LOL. I'm an idiot though. That aside, this all looks brilliant, jealous of your wheel covers. What VIN are you? No need to be specific but I am 6700ish and haven't gotten mine yet and am going to kill myself soon.

There's been a video out where Top Gear took a Rivian and Cybertruck out and did some pretty fast 2-3 ft humps going airborne after each. The Rivian tent bents their rails as well as I can remember.
This amount of weight dead center seems doomed in similar G force situations.

Good question , I only did that because of the ones I have seen has them, that way but does make sense thou .
These are the recalled larger covers . in person the difference in size is very huge .
I don't have the new ones and will not use them as I love the original ones and don't seem to have any rubbing issues .

Braking and collision are probably going to be the highest loading events.
