Words don't "make" other people react, that's up to them. Different people will react differently (or not at all) to the same statement. You are not the arbiter of what someone "should" or "shouldn't" say. That's a very woke position.

Guess I’m “woke” then because that’s my position. That is not an insult or a negative descriptor of a position to me. Just another word that’s been weaponized by people I don’t agree with.
You’re 100% right, I’m nobody’s arbiter, there is genuine wisdom in that, but my impression of someone is most certainly influenced by how they choose to behave towards and what they choose to say to and about others in the world, not just me. It’s that impression which determines how I in turn choose to treat and react to those people.
I won’t play nice or turn a blind eye with people who kick dogs even though it’s not me being kicked.

A stereotype is a collection of observations. It doesn't mean all people in that group fit the stereotype, it's an observation of correlation. The problem happens when the stereotype is applied to an individual without any evidence that individual fits the stereotype. In this case, we can clearly see the Subaru driver fits the stereotype. Not perfectly though, as he is a male and thus can't be a lesbian.

The majority of people who have given me the middle finger are middle aged suburban white people. If I were to follow this correlation theory, then I am bad? I hate cybertrucks? Am I the reason for all the cybertruck hate? Is this the Twilight Zone?
