Cyberbeast mode launch? Unable to engage "beast/launch mode"?

Hi guys, just took delivery a few days ago, and wanted to try launching in Beast mode. I went to driving dynamics, selected Beast mode, and pulled up to the line, left foot on brake, and right foot planted, all I got was a yellow small warning "brake and accelerator are both activated", no launch sequence, nothing. I launched it anyhow, and no triangular imagery, nothing, just a basic launch and honestly not impressed whatsoever, so I must be doing something wrong, or my truck is a dud.. Mind you I have a LOT of experience with exotics, race cars etc., could I just be jaded?

I think you have to put left foot on break, take right foot completely off accelerator and the floor accelerator, should activate launch sequence. It's actually very impressive!

I had the same question - then realized all you need to do is press down hard on the brake then the accelerator (press the accelerator pedal down hard as well).

1. Come to a complete stop.
2. Both feet off the pedals
3. Press the brake down 100% and HOLD
4. Wait 1 or 2 seconds.
5. Press accelerator down 100% and HOLD
6. Wait for the animation on the screen to get going (its lowering the rear end during this animation)
7. Release brake.
8. ZOOOOOOM

.We launched on our trip in Utah on a remote road and it was a blast. Fully loaded vault plus 4 adults. Maybe 8000 total pounds. Using stopwatch video shows 0-100 in 8.81secs.
