My word they listed with some pretty bad pictures. It'll obviously rent out but they should throw on some more stylish and scenic pics.

Interesting. Can you track how many times the vehicle has been rented over time?
Listings will show how many trips a vehicle has been on if it has been on any. This doesn't look like it has yet. You can also go to the host to see how many other vehicles they have listed. They don't have any other listings, either.

With Turos cut (can be up 40%), owner takes home $540. Prob needs to rent 5-6 times to cover payment and insurance.

what happens when it does get into an accident and delisted from Turo? Curious of part availability from Tesla for Cybertruck
The biggest difference with the insurance options with Turo is how much of a deductible you want to pay. This host probably chose the 90 plan which only is a 10% cut to Turo. Get the most money.

If they did choose the 60 plan they only get 30 days of replacement income if something happens and since they don't have previous trips to go off of Turo only gives $25/day. Replacement vehicle reimbursement is for 10 days max. Very unlikely any considerable repairs with the CT will be shorter than 10 days at the service center. And they have to choose one or the other. They don't get both.

This is what I plan to do out the gates.
I didn't plan on the Foundation Series, or price bump when I made my reservation in 2019. The compromise is Turo, $7500 commercial vehicle tax credit, depreciation expense deducted from Turo earnings. This truck may actually pay itself off. Not at all what I planned but I needed to pivot anyway.

Question to the masses: should I bump up to the beast for the rental appeal?
I opted awd for the price tag and less likely an inexperienced driver will total it.

The cyber beast offers a better depreciation schedule though... and we'll, it's a beast...

Early on, when not as many CT's are in your area, I think it won't matter. As more and more are available, the beast may rent a bit better but I doubt enough to justify the price difference.

Also keep in mind, the chances of crashing it may be higher with the beast since people who specifically choose that over another CT to rent, probably want to push it.

What happens when they wreck/total it out?? Of course insurance with payout. But no more vehicle to rent out.. till a replacement.
How will insurance estimate the cars worth? Since it’s a limited edition car value could be 300k?
