Id fucking rock that scorpion all day lol.
Just wait until Musk and Tesla decide to make a Scorpion. Then what? Just get the M512 90mm Smoothbore High Velocity Cannon, but without the auto-loader option?

Or, only get the M247T Medium Machine Gun but pass on the coaxial M231 medium machine gun next to it to save a few bucks?

Im not entirely sure CB owners feel that way though ?.
I can kid all day long. Too many people here are way too serious...
?

I just think im in the same boat as most, the extra $$$ just for another motor wasn't justified IMO, you should have absolutely got a bit more bang for buck.
By my count, you're in the minority here. And even if i suck at counting, and numbers, and math,...all that shit is overrated anyway and doesn't matter....I got the best one, and you didn't ?...(even if mine is not as cool looking as yours...??)

Yeah? Well, my dad could totally take your dad—no contest.

Can't tell if trolling, but you seem serious, so you couldn’t see the sarcasm? You really think I’d lose sleep over what anyone on this forum thinks? I know my worth. The *last* thing I’d flex is my so-called ā€œMinority Cybertruck.ā€ when you wanna show bank accounts hit me up.

I had to edit this incase, you thought I was serious, I've no money in my account.

Dude, you can't see my sarcasm?

I am totally playing around. I love your Cybertruck. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!

I am not trolling at all. I guess I just have my own sense of humor that only I get (apparently). I thought by giving you all the Halo references I would have lured you onto my side...the dark side...

Like I threw in all sorts of emojies to give the joking vibe...like everywhere...

Guess it didn't work? ?

Anyway, I am totally kidding around. As I mentioned before, I can kid all day long. Too many people on this forum take things too seriously (like their bank accounts...seriously?) I just didn't think you were one of them...

Well, that's already better than me. I have a negative balance.

I just sold the third, and last, wheel of the tricycle my parents bought me years ago to make my last payment on my CyberBeast. I literally have no idea how I'm going to make my next payment...

ā€œBecause that’s the way it was designed. The onus is you to learn about your vehicle. I’m honestly surprised that you don’t know this. The knowledge you seek is out there— go get it,ā€ Dalton said, annoyed.

ā€œAlso, it’s very bizarre that you haven’t noticed it driving the vehicle around. It’s not exactly subtle,ā€ he added.
My question: Why would they design it that way?
Your answer: because they designed it that way.

Happy late Sunday sorry everyone church day for me. I had a pleasure reading everything on this thread it’s amazing how far it got I’m loving it so much information and opinions and jokes. I can’t wait to be part of the community and I decided to ask my Tesla advisor for a 2 day loaner of the beast I’ll make sure that I’ll fallow up with the input until then God bless you all you are all amazing on here. Btw I don’t think I’ll mind the front motor making noise or the clank. Good night

Oh, no worries at all! The moment we both bought Cybertrucks and waved, we basically became blood brothers, might as well start sharing bank accounts. I’ll go grab my checkbook like it’s 1998.

Plus, Cyberbeast has torque-victoring for the rear motors, just like my Model X Plaid ?
It was surprising from the beginning that Tesla didn’t just use the same set up in the model S plaid (at least to me) I was expecting to have two cars with the exact same set up and horsepower rating.

But, instead of using three carbon wrapped permanent magnet motors (Plaid), they use one permanent magnet in the front and two induction motors in the rear on the CB.

I’m sure it was explained somewhere that the permanent motors are more efficient and that is why the CB allows its permanent motor in the front to do most of the pulling during normal driving. Again, not an expert on this stuff, but what’s-his-bucket could’ve easily looked this stuff up for himself.

The two induction motors in the back provide extra torque and extra power for quick acceleration, towing and offroading. I think toughness and ironically (given the inverter related issues) reliability and durability were additional reasons to use induction motors on the back of the CB and also a desire to reduce the need rare earth metals.

More importantly, Cyberbeast was designed during our country's worst supply chain fiasco period. An induction motor is simpler in design and material count, lack any exotic rare earth magnet and therefore easier to manufacture. (y)

Sure but they were still making and not selling all that many plaids during the same time. So, I don’t understand why it would necessarily easier on the supply chain for the number of CB’s that they made to not simply use the motors you already had.

I’m guessing it had more to do with cost containment. I wouldn’t be surprised if using the same set up as in my S plaid wouldn’t add another $20,000 to the cost of the cyber truck.
