appreciate it. Like I said in another post, I do not have a VIN yet. But, it was most likely a cancellation that I got to be the next in line for is my guess or it was some kind of error lol

I dont know how you can have a delivery date but no VIN. Don't they need it for insurance?

Hopefully it shows up within the next 5 days. I haven’t paid nor need insurance until pick up. Sent screenshots of it in another thread because some guy didn’t believe me.

Sorry I’m new here and don’t know how to make a new trend. I reserved on May 30, 2020 and got email to order on May 30, 2024 and ordered CyberBeast white trim. I did the ID and no trade and financing on May 30 and was approved and confirmed my financing same time . Tonight about 20 mins ago and 26 days later I got a message on the app to “review my financing offer my financing is approved” then I clicked it and basically had me confirm my financing again but I couldn’t change anything as it was already approved. Is this normal? Sorry this will be my first Tesla

When i watched this crash video, I actually felt sorry for the new owner. I literally had a sick feeling in my stomach. I think posting that video, even if the accusations were true, was a big mistake.

The second reaction, nearly simultaneously with the first was, there goes our CT insurance rates! YIKES!! Auto insurance costs across the board are up 51.3% since January 1st.

FE Cyberbeast with White Decor and All-Terrains

I’m in an odd situation where I actually WANT the FE, but ideally I need to delay my delivery as long as possible for personal reasons. January 2025 would be perfect. July 2025 would be even better.

I would place my order “on hold” but I don’t want to risk losing out on FE. I know this is a bit counter to popular opinion on the forums.

I had white decor on order, but, with the quick deliveries for white even for Cyberbeast, sounds like I’ll be changing to tactical grey.

Who are you guys using for insurance in NY? Geico classifies Cybertruck as “exotic” and is refusing to insure them. Further, those with existing Geico plans are getting dropped.

Quoting a poster from my other thread: “GEICO just dropped me saying the Cybertruck is an exotic vehicle. Progressive, Liberty Mutual, GEICO, haggerty. All will not insure the vehicle. Allstate wouldn’t accept me because I wasn’t with GEICO for at least 5 years. State Farm was my only option. This is a big problem for those in NY”

This is going to become a serious issue in the next 6 months for Cybertruck owners in NY. Be ready to be potentially dropped from insurance unless we do something about it. I would love to reach out to Tesla to increase awareness if anyone has any working emails.
