Congratulations!
Picked it up today. It is a fantastic ride. Fingerprint problem can't be overstated. Planned to wrap anyway, but now no question. Only disappointment is that there is no Homelink. MyQ is great for my garage doors. Does not work on my gate. Model X does both and it was truly one of features I was looking most forward to.

Homelink myQ integration coming with 2024.27.20 (FSD 12.5.3) https://www.notateslaapp.com/software-updates/version/2024.27.20/release-notes

Not sure what this means if will work with included hardware already in the CT FS series, like they do with X and S Plaid.
My wife’s ‘23 MYP I had to specifically order the Homelink hardware and have Tesla mobile service come and install it.

Pick up confirmed for tomorrow. 2 weeks exactly after getting my VIN.
How much notice did they give you before delivery?

I would order and have it installed if that is an option. I have a message into Tesla.

If they are still delivering them in the same state, they have some kind of oil on the metal that probably makes it look a little shinier and resists chemical attack. That oil is a fingerprint magnet. After I washed mine a couple of times with soap and warm water, and let the stainless steel self-passivate, the fingerprints don't seem as pronounced.

Don't get me wrong, a sweaty or oily hand will always leave prints, but they don't look as pronounced and they wipe off very easily.

Glad you like the ride! But how could you not?

I was about to say the same thing. That first day, I was like "I see why people want to wrap it!" But I washed it with regular old car washing stuff and I haven't seen any fingerprints. I'm sure there's some somewhere but they don't stand out any longer.

Accepted delivery of my Beast yesterday. It was about a 1 month wait from configuring to delivery here in the PNW.

I like it a lot better than the dual motor, especially with the tactical grey. I off road everyday and the white interior is easy to get dirty.

In a week I am going to get the Beast wrapped in chrome. I love the stealth look.

One thing I'm having trouble wrapping my mind around is why the Beast seems to take almost twice as long to charge from the 48a wall connector as my dual motor even though it's the same battery size. I've been searching online and all I can find are posts about level 3 charging.

I got the “check out Camp Mode” message in my Tesla app again. Second time I’ve received it. Made me think it was my VIN, but not luck!

Ok you don't need to message us about it either, makes us think someone got a VIN too.

It’s interesting you bring that up as I saw some older graphic last night while searching cybertruck stats on the internet and came across something of a chart describing the tri-motor as having a larger battery than the AWD dual motor version, however everything else I see states its a 126kWh battery.
Anyone else run across this, perhaps that is why the tri-motor is taking longer to charge?

EDIT 9/6: I found the graphic and it was being represented showing the expected range extender within the chart that I improperly read as being stock size CB battery size without the RE.

Mine came with lots of spots that are not wanting to come o
I always hand wash my vehicles. Even when I had an FJ Cruiser! ?
Mine came with a lot of spots. Some came off easily with soap and water. Others not coming off. I have ordered IronX. Some of spots look like rust/metal that has been described. Saw video and this seemed to work well.

Hope so. Reached out to my delivery center and there response was simply CT does not support home link. Really seems like that is industry standard. Can’t believe my truck can’t open my gate.
