I just picked up my Cybertruck yesterday and drove it home about 125 miles… and parked and exited it for the first time.

Is this sound normal when you walk away?

I think you have choice on the sound you use, at least my husband does on his Model 3

Yea that’s the new lock confirmation sound. If you want to change it a different sound look in the toybox app or you can turn off lock confirmation all together in the settings.

Thank you! So that’s what it means! I don’t have a lock sound on my old model X so the concept is new to me. Sounded awful!

Only the glovebox USB port can be used for data, and there is only 1, so you must partition the USB stick. However, if your only interest is adding a custom lock sound, you can use a separate USB stick for that, and then re-insert the Sentry drive. The truck keeps a copy of the custom lock sound until a new one is selected.

I have my lock sound off but it still plays this sound when I walk away. I’ve updated twice and still has this glitch. Any ideas? I hate the sound.

It turns out that there are two places you need to turn it off. There is a simple on-off switch in the normal settings area, but the Toybox section also has a lock sound selection. I’m away from the truck now so I can‘t give you exact instructions, but maybe that’s a good enough clue.
