Just looking for some input here. I was debating on waiting for the Campstream solution to supplying the tent with HVAC, but not sure if that is the best way to go. I know there are other options from EcoFlow (Wave 3) or Zero Breeze (Mark 3).

I guess my thought process is looking at two primary concerns. The first of which is comfort and the second is efficiency.

Will delivering HVAC from the CT into the tent using campstream result in heating/cooling losses due to the length of travel, pressure differential, etc? Obviously it will, but will the efficiency of the CT HVAC make up for it? The other options have high up-front costs, but will their efficiency make up for it? What about reliability over the long term? Will these be more comfortable due to shorter runs of conduit? What about noise?

Sorry. Lots of questions and I am just trying to get other peoples' take on this who might have some experience.

I just ordered this from home depot and should be delivered today, it was about half the cost of the battery and other higher end brand portables, has a quite mode for night time. Will see how it works this weekend.

Let us know how it works out! Some pics would be great too :)

Not bad for $256...

I can’t compare but I use the wave 2 (not 3 yet) for our cybertent in Arizona and it’s exceptional.
Never had to use it for heat

do you use the CT as a power source when using the wave 2? if so, what is the usage like?

I do not usually power it directly off the truck. I use one of the Ecoflow proprietary dc cables to power it off either my delta pro 3 or delta 2 max depending on what i took on the trip and that’s mostly space related.
powering it off the truck would work fine but leaving the truck plugs on burns a lot of juice. Better to periodically turn it on to charge the power stations rapidly and then turn it back off.
I also use the solar inputs on the power stations so sometimes I even trickle charge the truck if production is high.

Just got an email that campstream is closing down.

I just ordered ecoflow wave3.

Well, if that is the case, then i feel like ecoflow or zero breeze might be the way to go for me.

Ecoflow is good at lots of other things too and it’s nice when your stuff is all integrated into one app.

I was looking at that. seems like they have a pretty big product line/ecosystem. this may be the way to go for me.

Have you considered the cybervent? I’m also considering the ecoflow wave, but it doesn’t heat below ~40°F while the cybertruck’s hvac system does.

And it’s a smaller footprint if loading your truck up for camping. Not sure though how effective the cybervent would be at heating below 40°.
