Got the tent today from my service center. Brand new in the box, they did not do the install. Going to try it on livestream.

Interesting. Mine is enroute to my service center and will be installed there. I actually would prefer installing it myself.

How long did yours take from order to arrival at the service center?

I don't really know because I messaged to ask if it was in on Wednesday and it was. I ordered it June 19th with my voucher so basically less than 2 weeks.

Mine gets installed next week. Here’s a silly question I haven’t seen anyone else ask. Is there room between the truck bed floor and the bottom of the tent to slide in and sleep? I’m curious if we could make it like a bunk for the kids.

I would not recommend doing that, but you could fit. Its pretty tight.

Any tips for getting the cover back onto the folded up tent so it could zip-up more easily?

The bins are supposed to be able to fit under it.

After much debate, I ended up ordering the tent with my voucher. Man, pulling the trigger on that was really painful. Cost aside, do you guys feel this tent is a good tent solution overall? (2 people). Hopefully i can pick it up before our planned trip and skip that service appointment. Did i read somewhere about a modification done by dealer to the aero cover? I’m aware of the thumbscrew hack.

Other than opening up all 4 air ports and buttoning the front corners to help tuck in the sides, I try to pick up the side/end cover material as the tent is being folded. The key is getting the side cover past the corners, then use the center buckle to compress the tent and it zips up easy.

The tent is awesome, totally worth it in my opinion. It is great for two people, lots of storage pockets on the walls and ceilings and a crazy number of windows. Used it on 4 camping trips already. I did install an electric air pump underneath the bed since we have other needs for compressed air. It’s nice we don’t have to pack the hand pump along with everything else and it makes setup a little quicker.

There is a change to the aero cover, but it’s really simple and comes with detailed instructions. The service center offered to install the hardware and tent, but when I brought the truck in they let me just pick it up.

A minor annoyance is climbing in and out. Depending on the terrain, sometimes it’s tough for the more vertically challenged to climb in since the leveling might raise the back end up a lot. An electric cooler works well as a step, but I ended up ordering a couple of the folding ramps this week thinking they might be convenient for getting in and out. Sometimes we want to let the dogs hangout in the tent, so hopefully this lets them climb up themselves since they are 80+ pounds.

We also got a 2” memory foam mattress topper to lay in the tent. Queen size fit almost perfectly (59”x79”). The stock pad needed just a bit of help.

Great information! I’m feeling better about my decision already, lol. The truck leveling and sleeping off the ground was more appealing to me than buying a ground tent. I’d be curious to see how the ramp/step works out. I do think a step is definitely necessary.

We are shopping for a camping mattress but haven’t received the tent yet. What size will fit? Is 79 x 59 the floor dimensions? Were looking at the hest dually or two foamy’s. I think they are 4” thick

I went with a queen size which was 79x59 (2" thick). This wasn't the exact floor dimensions, but it was close enough I didn't see a need to trim the pad. I think maybe the tent was an inch or so narrower and an inch longer? Guessing...surely someone is camping in their tent right now and can measure...

I think that there are multiple vendors with customer mattress on the forum. There's at least 1.
