Nice trailer but cheaper to keep my paid for diesel truck and 36' toy hauler (only have 1.2kw solar but 6kw generator too)

im just not spending $175k on any trailer when I could spend a bit more and get a Super C RV for $250k, just cant consider it from a value / range / size perspective.

With solar you usually figure about 4hrs per day of good sun, so at a 5kw array you're getting 20kwh in best conditions. Probably a week to recharge, if you're in the winter and not pulling any large loads from the pack like air-conditioning.

I've seen a lot of videos of their products. I doubt there is a company that does higher quality work. There are a few ways their product and price make sense. The price is up there and close to RVs that come with their own motor/vehicle attached. (Class A, B and C)

You can get a cheap trailer for 1/10th the price but you should consider this if one of more of these apply to you.:
  • You're rich.
  • You live full time in the RV
  • You boondock a lot (camp where there are no hookups)
  • You intend to go extremely remote, beyond standard towing distance.
  • You like your in law and need a place for them to live between family camping trips.

$175k or $40 for a couple of tents ?
some of us aren't spring chickens anymore - did plenty of tent camping, still do so off the back of my Indian Challenger (man it hurts the next day), grandkids like starlink streaming TV, full setup at an RV Park (boring) or boon docking (my preferred if I can get my big bitch in there), etc....

I am going to get a CT camping setup (aka tent) as with the 110/220 it opens up some doors and there's some awesome places in CO my trailer cant get to by far...if she likes it then we'll do both!

With that logic. why a 100k CT and not just an old truck and some Fire wood?
cause the old truck can run AC all night? Cause the old truck will use gas and require more maintenance? Hell you could just use the CT to cool also….
