Youtube showed new battery that Cybertruck can go 800 miles . Is this true and how does this affect delivery date? How about the price?

Tesla was granted a patent on 5/27/21 for Context Sensitive User Interface for Enhanced Vehicle Operation as related to the Cybertruck. The publication number for this patent is US 2021/0156705 A1.

The screen shots that are included in this patent are low resolution (on purpose), but in the fuzziness there is an apparent battery state of charge estimate of 610 miles that is shown in several of the illustrations. That's about all I've seen that is "official" from Tesla in the past couple of years, and as we all know, that is no guarantee of what they will deliver or even if that is a "Full charge" number...

...and since range can be based on route, speed, weather, we have no idea what the range number meant on that screen shot.

Tesla tends to try to stick to an average range number, but that requires a finished vehicle.

Exactly, it's a fantasy. They can not even produce a 400 miler, now they're dreaming of 800.

I remember seeing a teardown video of the battery pack and it was not full of cells. Meaning Tesla could add more cells in the future. I don't remember if they used dummy cells or if the voids were filled with foam. They add foam to strengthen the battery pack since its structural.

That's not true. The pack is full. Tesla said the space is required for cooling.
