So I was thinking about something today while watching this video. Imagine you're camping, cozy and asleep in your sleeping bag, when suddenly your Cybertruck flies away with you on top, bc my phone... which was my key, was with me in the tent.

I don't know why this just became an irrational fear of mine but I am gonna keep phones bluetooth off when in my cozy tent.

Or do you think it would only allow any of that if actually in the vehicle? Thoughts?

Spacecamper looks so much better than Cyberlander and much more likely to bring something usable to market.

Spacecamper seems to be more on the ball with keeping their prospective customers updated with their design progress. I just really like the Cyberlandr idea of an integrated shower and toilet without having to set additional components outside the actual camper. I think Spacecamper has more of a chance to succeed.

My excitement for this hinges on the ease of installation. Totally cool if the Service Center wants to help for initial installation but, unlike the range extender, I will only want the tent in the bed when I'm actually planning on using it.

We need a feature to remove steering wheel. It’s not connected to axles anyway!

That should solve the problem, at least until we get steer by wireless, but I’m sure Tesla will add a safety feature for that, at least until Neural Link takes over, but then Optimus will be there to save the day! Ugh, I don’t know why every futuristic idea terminates with a terminator!

Jokes apart, as others said PIN to drive should solve. Your concern is very valid.

It’s a valid point but in this case you’re not trying to make it light and you aren’t sleeping on it on top of rocks so it might could be more reliable than an air mattress. I would, though, feel better with a backup pole that would take longer to deploy but not be able to leak.
however, I will say that I have had tent poles break on me. Not as often as mattresses leaking but they are not unbreakable. Again, though, in truck camping you can make things beefier without the carrying weight penalty.
