Additionally, the center floor still has the metal and plastic. I thought that went away on the FS in general.

I was told today that: “The vin for (my particular) Cybertruck (cyberbeast) was swapped due to an issue with the battery that our teams are not going to be able to fix for some time. The current ETA for a repair is unknown at this time.”

I was told today that: “The vin for (my particular) Cybertruck (cyberbeast) was swapped due to an issue with the battery that our teams are not going to be able to fix for some time. The current ETA for a repair is unknown at this time.”
Did you get a new Vin or still waiting ?

Yeah it was swapped a few days ago. On Saturday they initially gave me 54xxx VIN and by end of day I had a 61xxx VIN because I told them I would not accept a 2024 truck. They already charged me for the truck which is frustrating too...so they debited my account and I don't have a truck. Which I think is illegal? With that said I spoke to an advisor today that said the ETA on the new cyberbeast was 5 days out...so maybe I'm getting some sort of priority since it has been paid for....

if you have a vin you are in better shape

I will say this has been a mess. I’m not sure Tesla knows or cares about damage control or transparency. Either way hoping I have a truck soon.

I still haven’t received any updates since a text from Tesla on Saturday morning. And no Vin either.

This is my first Tesla and I’m trying to be respectful. Is it unreasonable for me to text/ask Tesla for some kind of update on timing?

I bother them daily….my delivery date is set for Feb 3rd now.

The way Tesla works is almost too efficient….FOR THEM! My delivery experience was seriously lacking in detail and I was kept up to date by being notified literally one day that I needed to schedule delivery! I then scheduled it for the very next day (27th Jan) still no having paid or even knowing the balance due! I went to the delivery center and had to wait about 20 min for them to complete the paperwork on their end before the Blue button in my app even allowed be to press it and pay! A few clicks later-entering bank acct info and I was all done! As a shareholder, I can appreciate the efficiency of how they operate BUT it makes buyers that are used to the USUAL higher pressure sales approach/tactics led by a commissioned sales person/staff feel a bit underwhelmed at the minimalist approach! HOWEVER, it will likely be more of the standard sales method going forward from most manufacturers as it’s cost (fat) cutting that helps keep costs…and prices down. I like to think of how airline travel used to be compared to now-less “service” but you still get there at the same time.
