Because it's spending, not gaining?

-Crissa
Not sure what you mean by “spending not gaining”?

are the point values listed the amount of points you get if someone buys one of those vehicles with your code, and the 500 points is the cost of cybertruck raffle ticket?

That's correct.

Wonder how many people with like 8 roadsters are being offered CTs instead.

If that is the entire point why don’t they just give a Cybertruck to each of the top YouTube and TikTok ‘influencers’ and not pretend to be doing something for everyone? I look at all these YouTubers that buy every BEV that come out and it just pisses me off.
because this way they only need one prize for them to compete with eachother to try and get.

This is a much better referral/loyalty program than when I actually made 2 referrals in early 2021 and it was for some amount of free supercharging, but there was an expiry date on the supercharging so it never would have been useful to me as at that time I was just waiting on a cybertruck which would never come in time to use those miles and since then I bought a used Model S with lifetime unlimited supercharging so it wasn't useful there either.

With this new point based program my 2 original referrals have been wiped so no reward for me on those. :(

Strangely I don't see the cybertruck raffle option in my loot box.
(I'm in Canada, so maybe it hasn't been added to our rewards store yet.

Which they do without loyalty programs, and get paid for, already. They are greedy.

Not sure, I understand all the hate towards the Youtubers. They provide tremendous, marketing value, are very entrepreneurial, complement a company like Tesla well that really do not have big marketing department.

very much the entrepreneurial spirit that should be Rewarded.
They get rewarded in several ways w/o Tesla giving them a Cybertruck:

1. you become a Patreon supporter
2. you watch their videos
3. you ’like’ their videos
4. you subscribe to their videos

all of these are revenue streams and reward well for creative and popular content. I never argued against this model, and more power to them.

But those very people are incentivized to create content to draw new customers to Tesla. Giving away a CyberTruck, in the long run, is a cheap way to advertise Teslas. Besides, those influencers are not paid by Tesla but by others like Youtube, Twitter, whatever... This is Tesla's way of saying "Hey, everybody, get the word out!" And while some popular Youtuber will get more chances to win the raffle, the person with one raffle could still win it.
I’ll congratulate any non YouTube/TikTok person that wins - for sure!

Yes. You have to spend 500 to get a raffle ticket. You gain the others when someone buys that car via your referral.

I think it was quite some time after the Model Ys started being made before they had them in showrooms. I do not think they ever showed off the pre-production Model Ys.

Call them.

The entire point is to get YouTubers and TikTokkers to yap about Tesla.

I checked with my nephew and he did use the referral link (that was late in January) but neither of us got any credits. Do you know which phone number?
