I was thinking around there too, but the one @CYBERTRUCKco posted is $12K but includes front and rear aluminum bumpers, so Tesla might keep theirs under $10K. Hope it’s closer to @REM numbers though lol
Our sliders and full underbody armor together is $6300 + shipping. We have a low margin on these specialty parts, based on other Tesla parts, I would expect Tesla to be at least $8500.

The issue I saw with Tesla sliders is they do not protect the door, only the sill.

1" but thats a mute point when you puncture your battery over a rock!
The sliders might be the most stout part of my truck. They are in full use as run around this summer.

I just remember Tesla Wes saying how the best part of the underbody protection was that it was coming soon and that was back in March.

Everything I have ever purchased from the Tesla shop as an aftermarket part has sucked.

Factory steel bumpers as part of this would be great to know (presumably) they wouldn’t alter FSD performance. The aftermarket ones that move the camera concerns me.
Moving the front bumper camera, or even covering it does not stop FSD only park assist. FSD runs off the cameras behind the mirror. And we put the bumper camera in same location as stock, so mute point.

And steel bumpers aren't great for Cybertruck because of the weight, look at UP kit, it uses 1000lbs of overall payload capacity on the truck, equal to 4 people! This plays big part in handling and energy usage.

This is why we chose aluminum, our entire offroad package weights only 375lbs on the truck!

Finally someone understands weight.
