I post Cybertruck stuff on the Internet and people like it.

I hate to be that guy, but...are we sure this is proof of production? This could very easily be a set piece for a promotional video. We haven't seen the folded (probably door) sheet metal before, but there have been other pictures which resemble the CT frame near the assembly bots. Could be the same piece of equipment, i.e., it's been built for a long time and just gets hauled out for photo ops.

I'm mostly suspicious because the robots aren't moving.
The bots are on break man, the union has a mandatory photo break at this stage in production ;)

This would be a very early stage, not the full production where vehicles are coming off the line every minute. These pictures and videos are likely of production line validation, testing, and calibration of the line as they produce an incredibly small amount of vehicles each day/week and work on refining the equipment and processes. Its not surprising to see the robots not doing anything if that is what they are doing.

Well I hope you're right. But I still have my suspicions.

It “could be” a fake. Or a render or a lot of things.

Most likely it is exactly what it says it is.

When you start a new process, it’s not going a million miles an hour. They run it slowly with stops in between. Production at this phase almost certainly working at a snails pace as they are just getting the robot programming dialed in.

Very likely it is stopped more than it is going for the moment.

If there is a new hump on the field at the Meadowlands next season, that’s where Optimus went…

Just sayin’.

Zero constructive comments, and you are acting like a condescending ass.

You are in the express lane to get put on everyone’s ignore list.
You should be the first to lead the charge. Go ahead

Definitely NOT formal line production yet, but very exciting to see things are happening. For world class manufacturer such as Tesla, it must follow a very strict and standard process flow: DV (Design Verification), PV (Product Validation), PPAP etc. The video and pictures appear to be more like equipment / line tuning, not production. If PPAP is happening, you should see from sheet metal roling in, the very begining, to end, a truck rolling out, non stop production on a fully equipped line, "as if it's the mass production" which is not, for a predetermined quantiy of trucks to satisy sample / population requirement. Then the whole thing stops. All produced PPAP units' details get examined from top to bottom. Issues if any summarzied, root caused resolved... If all goes well, small batch mass production begins, then ramps up. If not, solve the problem then allow PPAP again, or carry the problem forward to small batch mass production while simultaneoulsy trying to sovle it along the way. PPAP may have already happened and we just didn't see it or, it's happening soon.

Crazy sensationalist title lol. If you guys actually believe production has started... bless your hearts. :ROFLMAO:
I guess it depends on how you define production.... if you define production as the lines are up and running on a full schedule producing a reliable number of vehicles per hour.. nope hasn't...

IF OTOH you define production as we are no longer doing stuff by hand .. then yep they have.

Think about it.. even if the lines are donig NOTHING but creating castings which they will stockpile till the rest of the assembly line is ready. For a LOT of us.. YES they are producing castings exactly like they are when they enter full production mode.... so yes production will have STARTED... are we saying they are ready to push out a full truck NOW no.

However, if they have the presses in the line and are making castings that are not just being melted down and made over.. that is a HUGE step.

I was strictly referring to the thread title which states Cybertruck production has started.

Are castings being produced? To an extent... yes.

I'll drop this. Not a single truck has been built in TX.
