I’d be super cautious about scams. Pretty sure Tesla cold texting people is pretty much a non thing.
actually i got the same one and nope tesla cold text messages me a LOT.. the odds are good on the cyber truck page he hit the trade in button it seems to have triggered those text messages.

Late next month *should* be a good opportunity for the drone flyers, though...
Yes and since Tesla's recent plans are to have its first release candidates before/near end of August :devilish:... which "release candidate" in Tesla terms, Musk has previously (though only casually) defined as “almost entirely built with production tooling”...

Working backwards/forwards from that information/date, should give some idea as to when (meaningful) "production starting" might occur, or what sorts of artifacts might be seen around GTX "late next month"

@Administrator *should* reconsider re-titling this thread, unless we're all digressing to hopium definitions of the words "begun" and "production"

Seeing someone airing up a basketball does not mean the game has begun

Not that the new CT platform makes this a necessarily good analogy, but with the Model 3 the 'release candidates' were being built as late as mid-March 2017, and first official Model 3 production vehicle came off the line 4 months later, July 7th.

Food for thought

Welcome to the forum. Where crazy sensationalist titles based on vague imagery prevail!
C'mon, does production start when things are making their way down the assembly line...

Or when the first finished product comes out?

Or when the finished products have completed their testing cycles?

Oh I think this is part of the initial start of production. Like most on here, I believe this is the calibration of the assembly lines. But the sarcastic comment still stands.. this site has a habit of blowing vague things way out of proportion as fact! 'Like I told my last wife, I says, "Honey, I never drive faster than I can see. Besides that, it's all in the reflexes." '

I'm still here, so I clearly enjoy or need it out of desperation for information like the rest of us. ;)

So we all will have been hanging out together for about 4 years when they start delivering. Are we going to have a meet up and share a beer or 3 and laugh about the thousands of post, arguments, and incredibly funny posts we have shared?

Maybe a cage fight or two also

How would you prefer I title the explosive diarrhea of info I get sometimes hahah

Honestly, I become a little frozen when I see some stuff and the emotion overcomes me. Not trying to be click bait. Sorry dude.

i tell my passengers i KNOW i am not going to hit anyone. If i go faster than everyone else no one can hit me... THEREFOR the safest way for me to drive is to go faster than everyone else.
