No doubt aftermarket are less money.

For me, I go OEM because, if the TPMS system throws a fault, Tesla will diagnose/fix it under warranty.

For me, I go OEM because, if the TPMS system throws a fault, Tesla will diagnose/fix it under warranty.
I go with OEM TPMS sensors too, not for warranty reasons, but because with the aftermarket it's hard to know which ones are good. Some of them report wildly inaccurate pressures while the OEM Tesla sensors seem very consistent (and their batteries last a long time). The aftermarket ones might work great, or they might not.

So this price drop is more than welcome, almost $400 was a bit stiff, they didn't always cost that much but sometimes Tesla will raise the price on an item that is in short supply to prevent them having to jump through all the hoops involved in getting one more supplier.
