sentry is active but zero events triggered.

It still draws more power because the cameras have to be active to detect movement. I’d suggest shutting it off to see if that helps. I leave sentry mode off when I’m at home because I have cameras on our house, but that may not be the case for everyone. If you weren’t already aware, there is a setting where you can tell sentry mode to not enable when at home.

Yeah, I definitely need to play around with it and look at the data over more than just one night and with sentry mode off and on. I too have cameras at my house, but I do like to leave sentry mode on as well. I assume that the drain will get dialed in and be comparable to any other Tesla in the coming weeks and months.

Just keep in mind it may be looking at more cameras and/or the feeds are higher resolution vs HW3 models. I’m not suggesting things are as good as they can be, but it may not be a straight apples to apples comparison to look at draw from other Teslas.

fair point, ya. I wonder how the other HW4 cars are doing with drain.

I have not driven my CT in almost two weeks. I just opened my Tesla App and it was not asleep. It’s in a garage, Sentry Mode and any other settings that may prevent it from sleeping are off.

Current version 2024.14.11 I’m not using any third party apps. Hopefully I can self diagnose the issue.

Yeah 2024.14.7 and 11 have been terrible for me. 2024.14.6 was fine. Heres my activity. All I think is it cannot be good for the contractors to be cycling that much.

I looked at all the Service alerts. And, it’s interesting that I kept receiving an “Unable to charge”, even though it’s not been plugged in, for over a week.

I turned off my phone for a couple hours and the drain is still occurring under the Mobile App category. Seems at this point there is no way to keep the CT to sleep for prolonged periods.
