It mostly works for me. If it refuses, I find if I hold the turn signal button down for 2 to 4 seconds, it will give in and do what I want. I find it amazing that we have to have these discussions with our trucks to get them to do what we want. Like having a 7,000 pound toddler. Ha. I luv it. Best vehicle ever.

I have the opposite issue. In Hurry mode it insists in going into the left lane and staying there. I will cancel the turn signal and every 5 seconds it tries again.

I have the same issues with lane centering, riding over and across the left lane divider, over and beyond the rumble line, lack of response when i ask to move to my right lane. All very frustrating, at the Tesla shop now for a third time to ‘resolve’ the issue they failed to fix twice already. I love my Teslas (I have all but the model Y), but I drive long distances and tired of white-knuckle instances of too close for comfort to the left wall beyond the lane marker. Once actually hit that wall and lost the cover to the front tire on impact, a couple of inches more and would have been a full collision! To Lemon-law may be an option in Florida, but not sure I want to part ways with my CT yet. Just got a mini Starlink for it.

For what it’s worth- mine is in shop for various issues and I have a loaner Foundation AWD. My non-FS AWD hugs the left on occasion but this foundation model is on the yellow line and on the rumble strip and I can tug it to the center but it jumps back over to the yellow line as soon as I let off. Happens about 75% of the drive until it settles into a left deviation that’s tolerable for me.

Not sure if this helps but I have made multiple 12 hour drives in the last few weeks and I had similar observations. The lane changing drove me nuts.
I found toggling between hurry and standard was an easier way, most of the time, to get the truck to change lanes left or right. Want it to move over to the right then switch to standard. Need to move left then go to hurry. Not a 100% solution but it helped. I know there are down sides with the speed involved with those. I also had a lot of issues with the truck not changing lanes or putting the signal on and taking forever to change lanes.
Hopefully all this gets fixed, but I believe the drivers input should supersede the FSD unless it is unsafe. Fighting with the truck is really annoying, but it is a small price to pay for letting it drive most of the trip.
I won’t start on the lane centering as it rendered FSD useless on parts of the Pennsylvania Turnpike with the curves.

All those yet another issue: i normally drive on highways at 9 mph above speed limit, as cops seem to allow it. Most of my long drives have a posted speed of 75, so I try for 84 mph, yet the truck will never reach it, but stay at the high 70’s. Same thing on posted 65 mph, will not settle from 74 mph as I intent. Any suggestions? Tried all combinations of settings. Yet, with all the kinks yet to be worked out, I find no acceptable alternative to this truck and will keep it, even though in theory I can ‘lemon’ it by Florida law, it just came out of the shop a third time to fix the lane keeping feature, same unsuccessful attempt at the Tesla shop.

If it is a two lane highway then I would put it in hurry mode and then limit the max speed limit to 9 over using the right thumb wheel. In hurry mode it will normally drive right up to the max I set if it is only 9 over. If you use standard and do the same thing then I periodically have to lightly press the gas to convince it to drive a little faster.
I find myself wishing that I could just set the speed like normal cruise in those situations.
if it is a 4 lane highway then hurry mode will make it stay in the left lane. You can try standard but then like the rest of this thread you may get in a back and forth as to which lane it wants to drive in. Not a complete solution but that is what I have found works best. Just watch the speed limit. If it changes then it resets the max and you need to limit it again. Otherwise the truck in hurry mode may go faster than your previously set 9 over max.

Yea ive posted about this too. I will push it and reengage the turn signal which it will ignore up to a record of 3 times lol.

it can also just be slow af to switch lanes... like ....a total of 5-6 seconds. Doesn't seem like long but feels like forever when trying to get out of peoples way.

I find tapping the accelerator gives it the nudge needed to speed up.
