I purchased this kit too but am slightly worried on reliability. The OEM factory suspension maxes out the air suspension in extract mode. What happens with this kit and maxing out the suspension? I’ve already blown one air suspension module so I’m curious how this kit performs.
It appears the Extract mode does not use the sensors to to determine height, it completely fills the bags with air to max pressure, and can over inflate the bags to damage if left on for extended periods of time. We had this happen to a customers Bentley in our shop years ago as well... You should only use extract when needed and for minimal amount if time to avoid over inflation in our opinion.

Up above, I was one of the guys saying how much I loved the Lift Rod KIt. Well, I’m amending my post and I wonder if anyone else has an issue.

Yesterday my back end collapsed like there was an air tank issue. Took it to Tesla and the tech said the aftermarket piece I’d installed didn’t “sit” properly and became dislodged. He put it back on, took it for a test drive, and it popped right off again.

So it appears at least on mine that as the piece wears - because it doesn’t have “pop on cap” like the original Tesla piece - it will eventually wear enough and come loose.

Curious if anyone else has a similar issue? I wonder for those of you that have installed them if you want to crawl under your back tire and take a look if yours looks like mine and is close to popping out?

I’m not mechanically smart enough to know if this is a design issue or just something unique to my CT but I’m sharing here in case it helps others. It would be most interesting if another owner who installed the pars would look and see if there lift rod is about to slip off just like mine. Thanks!
Please take a look at this "Pro Tip Video" to properly install your lift rods

Maybe put the link over on TMC where you said you wouldn't buy it, along with the video on how to do it correctly. Why shade there, and be different here??

At the time I posted, I don’t think I had the response from the vendor. They sent an email last night.

But you can post it on TMC whenever you have time.

I’ve been using this lift kit system from @CYBERTRUCKco for a month. I did have one rear wheel come loose, but I had installed it incorrectly. After following the pro tip video here, I was able to get the rear in perfect alignment.

I don’t think you can lift another vehicle by 2” on planet earth for under a $100. Insane! I jumped on these the moment they came available.

We just went off roading this week, Baja Mode with speeds over 70 mph, truck still handles amazing. My friend who has extensive experience off roading was blown away. He could not believe the type of performance the CT is capable of. I’ve got plenty myself with my Raptor, but really pushed the CT in the arroyo’s and deep wash, WOW!

In town driving in Med just feels more properly associated with other trucks on the road now. Stock CT bumper height in CT low and med looked like my wife’s Model X height side by side, that’s just not right for a truck IMO!

I’d definitely recommend these to anyone thinking about lifting theirs. For $80, I’m not sure you can go wrong.

Just got the @CYBERTRUCKco (@Roger@CYBERTRUCKco) lift rod kit in yesterday and installed them. Took me about 20 minutes. Glad to have a little higher stance in entry and low. It’s only an inch, but to me makes a nice difference. Definitely looks super high w 2” extra in high mode. Love it!
@CYBERTRUCKco how much of an affect does this have on the Beast mode sports car driving? The thing rails corners with its stock configuration. Has anyone tested the difference?
I'm all for the extra height for off-roading but I can't say I now don't enjoy the sports car aspects (yes its ruined me...).

Not sure, but in sport mode the rods only lift the truck 5/8" taller than stock, so not much difference. Hope that helps!

Not sure if anyone else has noticed the firmer suspension after installation. My wife noticed a difference immediately on the medium height. Had to change the driving dynamic to comfort when I was usually always in focused.

RIP your warranty. I’m all for aftermarket options as far as floor liners/vault accessories/etc but don’t mess with your suspension.

You do realize it was less than a 20 minute install? Worst case scenario I swap the parts. Most of these Service Centers just make up random rules to what is covered or not.

Anyway, that’s not how warranty works unless we’re talking about issues with the air suspension. If that were the case, being an easy reversible install would negate that issue.

I’ve had zero issues with them. I even had to use extract this weekend when we got stuck in a river bed while off-roading. I’ve not noticed any ride difference in med, but in high for sure. I deleted all the high ride height settings I had. Don’t really need it any more with the links.

How many inches does the LR give you on Extract?

I never measured it while I had my CT. I’d guess not much more than standard given some threshold the air suspension must reach at stock ride height (extract).

Thanks. So it wont raise it anymore if its in Extract mode, maybe a few cm.
