I bought these and I had a few problems. First the product would not stay in place and kept causing the hazard light / gear selector box to unclip and dangle. I think a later version they added two sided tape to hold the visor in place which I agree is absolutely needed. I was also sent two driver side visors. I cut off the logo and was able to convert one to passenger side. I also trimmed 1/8 inch off the length so it would stop pushing up against that control box. To secure I’m trying two things. One side I have 4 Velcro squares and other side I am using 2 command strips. First test drive tonight and no problems and the visors blocked out the evening sun as advertised. Next test will be going down one of our forest service roads riddled with potholes.
Dear Sir,
Sorry to hear you had some issues to address.

  1. When installing you need to slide into the top and A pillar headliners, the side towards the mirror should barely catch. Did you see the video on our website?
  2. Inside the box should have been a set of stick on double stick circle decals to adhere with as you noted. Were they there?
  3. And the parts are a minor, our warehouse guy put decals on all of them by mistake, but would not affect installation.
Hope that helps clear it up, if not please email me [email protected]

i think I emailed you all with some product comments to you guys and got some kind words of encouragement. I don't recall if the box had stick tape or not but I don't have evidence either way. I did push, wiggle the product up into the headliner area in an attempt to get it properly secured, like your video shows but it was still pushing on the control box and causing it to pop off. I was happy to discover I could use my sheet metal shears to take take a small amount off and get a fit that doesn't cause a pop off. I razored off the logo stickers and used WD40 to get the glue off so that's not a problem anymore. I like the product but I would shave a few mm off the length. and just put the logo on one of the shades and have that identify the one to install on the drivers side.
