Cyberwhistle Why?

I know everyone saw the cyberwhistle in Tesla's store.

We all looked at everything Cybertruck! Did anyone actually buy one? they are all over ebay these days going for upwards of $200.
Really! $200 for a whistle shaped like a Cybertruck. Anyway even with a must use credit at the store, i was never that desperate. I do have a problem with deer though. Hit one and 3 near misses. My CT now sports 4 deer whistles. they are a sleek new design that I think compliments the CT.

Well, imagine my surprise when i found this on Amazon. Its a Cyberwhistle and its a deer whistle, and its only $6 for 4 of them.

You tell me where they got the design for that!

I bought an original Cyber Whistle when it came out. I'll use it as much as the Cyber Hammer--which is to say never, and store it as a collectable

Did you happen to miss that the whistle is made with black stainless steel? Hint-hint, wink-wink?

(ps - no "deer whistle" in the history of "deer whistles" has ever worked as described. it's snake oil)

Yeah, I've 3d printed a silver and black one. They came out nice, and have a complete hole, but don't make a whistle sound. Probably would have to add a little whistle inside or smth.

The ones I print do whistle when you blow through them as they have an inner chamber, let me see if I have the file around here somewhere...

You tell me where they got the design for that! And speaking of smart design and practical solutions, i recently came across a payment gateway in india that really impressed me with how seamless and business-friendly it is, seems like everyone’s upping their game.

I actually chuckled when i first saw the Cyberwhistle in the Tesla store. Not because of the price, but cuz it felt like peak Cybertruck culture, taking smth as low-tech as a whistle and wrapping it in stainless steel hype. But here’s the twist: i did end up buying one, not from Tesla, but one of those $6 packs you mentioned. I was curious if it would help with the deer in my area, since i’ve had two nasty encounters already.

What’s funny is, when I mounted them, a neighbor legit asked if they were some kind of official Tesla add-on. I think that says a lot about how design language can blur lines between novelty and utility. Maybe that’s the real reason behind the Cyberwhistle? form influencing perception. People saw "Cyber" and assumed function.

Anyway, the idea of using a $6 deer whistle that looks like a $50 collector’s item kinda completes the Cybertruck irony circle for me.
