Dash board cover - does this look normal ?

My passenger side dash board cover has a visible bulging on what appears to be the location of airbags, does this look normal ?

Was told by the technician this is within spec

Yours looks more obvious, I think mine is very slight and is hard to notice. As mentioned another poster had this issue.

What keyword do I use for the search, I tried dash board cover bulging, nothing returned besides my

I couldn't find it via search, and yes mine has a very obvious dent/bulge, especially visible from passenger seat. I was told it's because of the airbag.

You should use dashboard cover to protect it. Too late to do anything about it

I have had the same thing on all 3 dash pads that I've had in my truck.

[They were replaced for othe reasons]

Yes that's what I was told, there are other CT's on the lot waiting for delivery that has the same bulge on the passenger side.
