Delay in downloading FSD in delivered Cybertruck

Got mine last night 47XXX vin.

1. Ensure the CyberTruck is on an active Wi-Fi network
2. Reboot the computer. Hold down left and right scroll wheels until logo appears.
3. Hit Controls > Software and download should appear in several minutes.
4. Download
5. Install
It took 30-45 minutes to get updated from 12 what it came from the factory with and I had only 9 miles on my Truck when I got it. (I also had to drive about 15 miles to let my cameras calibrate first. The update took me to 12.5.5 build 39.5

Wish it was that simple but it is not.
The update has to be pushed by Tesla and they do it in batches. There is nothing an individual user can do to expedite unfortunately. Been through this with their customer support a few times now

Just got it too… the 39.5… so it was 3 weeks… thanks for all the comments and guidance. This process is definitely broken and they need to to fix it! Enjoy!

Be sure to contact their service department and inquire about an extension on the FSD. I spoke to a rep that stated they were going to contact me back in a few days regarding a 124 day extension that I missed out on when they started my time before I was able to use it.
