I just scheduled on 30th for delivery but instant regretted. I’m trying to reschedule to 29th.

Initially was planning to go kids soccer games on Sat but what I think there are always soccer games.

Was really hoping for a more substantial fastener than an automotive plastic push clip.
Same here.. I really hope that it's more than just that clip..

Looks like they updated the service manual yesterday to include the "rework" steps.

I used the Wayback Machine to compare differences between 1/21/2025 and today, and the only difference I found were these steps

Everything else on this is the same
Excellent information, so is the re work change the adding of that patch? And do you know exactly what this does to the overall stability of the central or roof rail?

That's a butyl patch, which is typically used to reduce noise and vibration. It's not the adhesive that many people would think is the "fix".

Yeah I googled them they are used for water tightening or vibration so I wasn’t sure if you knew why this was added. Still useful information I looked up the service manual myself. But looking at previous posts it may just be an entirely new cantrail part that we are getting.

That clip will be a slightly more robust bandaid and get the contrails to stop flying off.......for about 6 months til they get hot/cold a few times and the front one snaps and we are right back to where we are now. Hope there is some metal hardware in there somewhere.
