I've been suspecting that they are running the non-fs off the lines and sending them to service centers and showrooms.

Guess those 1,000+ parked at the factory a few days ago makes sense.

Did they tell you it wasn’t a foundation? Hadn’t heard they have even produced those yet.
I stand corrected. I drove by the Tesla Center today, and saw the CT I drove, on another demo drive. This time, I saw "Foundation" on the side.

Looked back at the picture I took of the misses at Demo Drive… it is indeed a Foundation Series.

No, in fact I had to call three days later to ask what model I drove, and they said it was the AWD. It was wrapped in a grey/green vinyl.
Our Beast is officially wrapped, and no, we did NOT slap on those Foundation decals to replace the laser-etched originals. We did, however, install one of Tom’s raised Beast logos on the tailgate—that’s it. So from the outside, no one has a clue it’s a FS. We just didn’t want to be that person driving one of those ā€œFoundationā€ vehicles.

The result? Clean, neat, and sweet. Other Cybertruck owners know exactly what it is, but the general public? Absolutely clueless. And honestly, that’s part of the fun, isn’t it?
