You would think a wrap for a CT would be easy at least easy enough it could be sold as a DIY kit. Nice thing about CT it is all flat panels
Wraps are sold by the yard and stretched onto the skin of the vehicle, so you don’t really need a specific “Cybertruck” kit, just a ~60 foot roll of the wrap material.

and yeet LOTS of places sell precut wrap packages for Tesla's .. heck tesla has one one you can order for the model Y.. it is about those of us who do NOT do wraps.. wall paper. or anything similiar.. well EVER

pre cut panels and well written instructions make some of those people think HEY .. Maybe i CAN do that... 60 foot roll of VERY expensive wrap.. not so much.

A lot would depend not only on the quality of wrap used, but also on the design.

Plain would be the cheapest. Repeating print next, the most expensive would probably be a Landscape type print.

I’m think you can DIY a skin for around $300-500. I’ve been considering a partial wrap and might go that route.
Found a website, https://www.rvinyl.com/cost-to-wrap-car , that gives their information, including for DIYers.
"A DIY car wrap can cost around $500 in standard vinyl, but if you want a more expensive type of vinyl, you could pay around $900 for the same square footage."

Of course, labor is the most expensive part of the process but materials and proper tools aren't cheap. The CT might be very easy to wrap, it will require a lot of material, and I have to wonder if there's special preparation for bare stainless steel although parts of the CT are plastic (bumpers?).

Yep. I wouldn’t DIY wrap my Model Y for this reason. Just getting clean cuts would be a mess.

The Cybertruck though? I think I could make 5 big straight cut pieces on each side without too much trouble.

IF i were to wrap it would be with a holographic wrap.. so we are looking at 600$ plus worth of wrap alone.. I think i can pay the labor on that!

Like with many things, if you’ve never done it before, probably better paying an expert!

If I do it, it’s very likely I’ll be doing a partial wrap on just the sides where it’ll be fairly simple and forgiving.

Very good chance I’ll be adding a company logo to the side of the truck while I’m at it which will probably be printed wrap.

Depends on the wrap and the shop.

Usually $2,000 - $5,000 depending on what you want done.
At "Wrapmate" the winter camp full wrap costs $4,163

Wonder how much a wrap costs?
If you choose customize you can see the price depending on how much of the truck you want to cover.

I'm working with Wrapmate right now. I will be getting my design installed on Jun 19 with a local shop. Wrapmate was really great in the back-and-forth of the design process and finding a local shop to install. $4200 out-the-door (custom design wrap).
