Does anyone use Windex to clean off bugs / tree sap? I've heard it is perfectly fine to use Windex on the stainless.. Just wondering who else does.

Always use a mix of DISTILLED Water ( not tap the chlorine is a corrosive on steel) and a small amount of Isopropyl alcohol . This is what my window tint, wrap guy uses. just enough IPA that you can smell it in the water.

Sprayway and Costco microfibers. I wipe mine down about 1x/week. Works great. I’ve never had water on my CT (save for some rain, haha!!) in the 9+ months I’ve had it.

From what I understand, the Tesla cleaners do not work as well as many of the cleaners we all use such as Sprayway, Windex, Barkeepers Friend, etc. But to each their own

I started with the Tesla detailing kit, it's a waste of money. Happy to sell mine after only using trace amounts for testing.

I've gone Sprayway Ammonia-free and have never looked back.

I LOVE the waterless wash, works great. Interior and glass are also awesome. The Stainless appears to be very similar to Barkeepers friend.
