The hate is real... someone keyed mine... and sentry didn't catch it ?

**and no I didn't double park or cut some one off **
the hate is real. The new thing Im getting is other truck owners ICE are coming in other direction and they turn on their hazards. Not sure what this is about.

crazy people out there and I guess I attract them here in California. Thanks for the info, I'll make sure the Dash cam is on and Honk mode is active for recording while driving.
Might be better off simply pressing the 'button' for the dashcam if you are dealing with unruly people. They may not like you honking at them and that could cause them to get worse...

I keep my 'button' (on screen at the bottom) readily available, right next to the 'radio' one... it's in the 'always there' side (bottom left). You can still tell it to save on honk, but this way you have a 'safer' one as well.

Ideas - consider bumping to a USB SSD Drive vs the USB Thumb drive in the glove box as you can speed up video performance a bit. You can also get an adaptor for your phone so you can pull real videos off from the event vs the phone recording which can appear washed out or pull the drive to transfer to a computer. Like a USB A to lightning or USB-C depending on your phone.

I’d definitely tap the Sentry camera icon to record an event if I saw it either for insurance purposes or the police. I haven’t encountered the physical aspect of this particular affection. Seems to be more a blend of:

5% thumbs down
30% ignorance is bliss
65% thumbs up, arm pumping, flashing lights
and 100% perpetually late leaving any location ?.

I do now too. So convenient. This truck is great. I recorded a vehicle accident in an intersection today, video taped it on my phone off CT screen and forwarded it to a CHP officer reflecting an idiot ran a red light. Love it.
