Does a Car Wrap help retain body quality of the vehicle?

Is a Car Wrap more than an artistic expression of the driver? Does the wrap preserve the integrity of the Cybertruck by doing this? What additional qualities do Car Wraps do for the vehicle. Im sure it doesn't really improve the overall value of the car , but likely will help you sell it when you decide to do so.
I am curious though, does the car wrap do anything beyond a cosmetic shell.

Fingerprints deterrent. Bout it. Some might say scrap resistant but compared to SS I doubt it.

There's color change vinyl(cosmetic), and color/clear paint protection film(more for protection, cosmetic second).

As the members above said, color change vinyl is for looks, and color change PPF or any PPF is much thicker and has protection abilities, but putting any film on will make it easier to maintain and keep clean. We were able to secure a stainless steel door, so we'll be doing some weather testing and removability in the next few weeks. Will report our findings when we do soon!
