Does Park Assist exist in CyberTruck - or is it coming in a future update?

In my Model Y, there was this feature that showed distance around the front and rear of the car pending the direction.

Use Case: when parking in a parking lot or parking spot.
Use Case: when backing up into a tesla charger or other parking spot.

PROBLEM: where is this located in the Cybertruck to turn on, or is this part of the missing update for autopilot?

Ah, i believe this was bc of the ultrasonic sensors that were in place, but have been removed on Tesla's.

ugh really? its a bit of a pain trying to back this truck into a parking space as well as park in a garage if there is a wall in front, I have to get out and look at the wall distance every time so far. totally stinks. Im surprised there isnt a distance indicator to show how far from the wall you are.

I do not yet have my CT yet unfortunately.

The latest SW is 2024.2.3. What do you have? Perhaps you already had it preinstalled at delivery?

Yeah this is another one of those really annoying things. Get the vehicle out the door and send the software later. Park assist is not something that should be coming in "two weeks".

Glad to hear they are gonna try and reimplement with vision, I just can't see the cameras being as effective as sensors, maybe I am wrong.

He did say in the conclusion that "an added front camera could improve the reliability" but, I guess we'll see...

I'm pretty sure the added front bumper camera will improve the vision based parking aid.

But I actually find the camera pictures really good to do parking with my CT, I do not really need the 3d view.

After you back your truck into its garage spot, place a piece of tape down on the ground or the back wall that you can see on your rear camera so you know when you’re good. Just a temporary fix suggestion. I would use an outlet on the side wall of my garage as the first marker then the rear camera for verification.

I'm on 2024.2.8 and still no park assist. I'd love for them to enable vision park assist...even just the chimes are helpful
