Does The Proposed EV Tax Incentive Leave The Tri-Motor Cybertruck With A $12,500 Disadvantage?

A person (like myself) ordering a Tri-Motor ($69,900) + FSD ($7,000) = $76,900 won't qualify for the $7,500 EV Incentive (let alone the full $12,500) if the EV Incentive is only $74,000 for pickups.
Would paying the $2,900 difference, or paying the $7,000 for FSD upfront make me eligible for the $7,500 incentive?

Yeah, I was wondering about that before when they were talking about the $80k cap.

You could skip FSD on purchase then add it in. It means FSD costs you $3000 more, but you come out better than if you did FSD on purchase.

Must I remind you the word PROPOSED which means there is room for discussion on this point. And always remember that we order cars or trucks based upon the need at the time, although when I sold cars at a dealership we based it on emotion. Either way it's the same thing .

I know that this is not how it is currently done, but perhaps Tesla could do this:

Tesla sells you your CT3 at sticker price, $69,900. If you preordered FSD that is held until a month after you take delivery and then Tesla send you an email about your preorder with a bill for $X.

You get the full, proposed rebate and Tesla sells a CT3 and FSD.
