Door fabric tear

Brand new premium AWD 2026 CT with less than 500 miles and I already have a tear in the door. Am I the first? If not, any suggestions on repair?

Similar situation happened to me when the “vegan leather” detached from my front center armrest. Tesla service fixed it for free and I recommend you asking them to fix your door fabric.

Did this about a month ago. Have not looked into repair or replace yet. It’s is bound to happen again!

I’m guessing when I was pulling a box out from the back (I always keep seats up), I knocked it with the corner. Just surprised that it’s that sensitive to damage

Ya pretty flimsy. Part can be replaced relatively cheap or you can use a repair kit. Or just leave it.

I did the same thing unloading a PA speaker in my 24 FS AWD, except not to the door. (See photo)

I was able to make it virtually invisible using this kit.
Multiple applications & sanding in between coats
Much like a drywall repair.

Gloss & Matte Black Leather...
