Happens every single day especially with Elementary and Middle school kids. They don't get tired of it. Wheres, High school kids like to look at it but keep it discreet.

Young kids have no filters like adults do!

Little kids are pure.

No politics. No worrying about haves and have-nots. No real concept of money. No social media addiction telling them what to like or dislike.

They see a thing and think it’s cool.

I’ve seen the same reaction. But I have heard more than one a “Mom/Dad! Can we get a cybertruck too!!!???”

One way to not make a friend with that parent I guess

I drove past a local high school at let-out time, at slow speed due to school zone and FULLY expected to get flipped off or something. Dozens of teenagers on the sidewalks. All I saw was a few side glances and nudges to their buddies, if I caught a bird or a thumb down, I didn't see it.

What’s funny is when I drove through a high school for a football game a couple of days before, I got a couple middle fingers (actually thumbs down ?, but it hurt worse than a middle finger)
Sad truth is your location is very political especially since Elon jumped ship to support MAGA and free speech. Very sad indeed :(

Love it! My kids tell me everyday that they see 5 CTs at their school in different colors at drop off/pickup. They keep asking when I’m getting mine ?, waiting for a non FS Cyberbeast.
I placed my reservation during the launch event in 2019 and I'm in the same boat as you. The wait has been looooooooooooooooooooong... and doesn't get any easier watching this forum while others talk about how awesome it is.

BUT, having been a guinea pig for the first runs of the Model S (I think mine was the 3rd 60 kWh off the production line in Fremont, my reservation was P912 for the Tesla Old-skoolers on here) and still driving that car to this very day, I can say I'll be happy not to be dealing with the new vehicle growing pains for the entirety of my CB ownership experience, and it's great to have this forum where people can post the tips, tricks, and issues they have to help others out, as the TMC forum functioned back in the day as well.

This has been an exercise in patience and planning. At least it gives time for the after market to come up with mods I'll actually want by the time mine (and yours!) is eventually delivered.

Happy waiting!

Cheers

Yes this forum has been great and like many others, I am living vicariously through all the owners here. I have 97,000 miles on my three-year-old model Y so far so good. I’ll keep waiting till I can get a non-foundation series CB.

during the summer school, 5th graders were doing typing tutorial on Nitro Type and they told me they want to buy/earn Cybertruck as a grand prize. I looked at it and they're all kinds of fast cars but one looked like Cybertruck-known as Stingtec Technotruck. They said it's their favorite!
