Did you get your title back from Tesla yet? I've paid off 5 weeks ago and still nothing. Tesla Finance is horrible! They told me they requested title from the state 3 weeks ago, I called the state DMV and they are saying they did not receive any request yet and its still under lien holder name. They don't reply to calls and emails are handled by some retard people.

Mine was finally issued 8/24. So almost 2 months after paying off the loan.

Is CO like AZ. We no longer receive paper titles - it is all done electronically. You can request one for a small fee but you don't need it. I just sold my Lightning and never touched a paper title for it.

I went through The Tesla App (Plaid), loan was covered by TD Autofinance. I paid it off on July 5th. Have not yet received the title.

It’ll take 4-6 weeks.

I got no notification. Arizona is all electronic so I went to the online portal just a few minutes ago and saw the issue date as 8/24. Paid off the TD Auto loan on 7/5.

Took 7 weeks fully electronic (no snail mail delays).

Dmv still showed a lean hold….called and got it released via snailmail letter
